The piano is built primarily on three approaches:

The keyboard piano: its strings are in a horizontal position. The grand pianos have an upper deck that can be opened, so that the sounds produced by the strings go out to the listeners without barriers of any kind. These pianos are manufactured in various sizes.

The larger and longer the piano is, the higher the sound quality.

Upright piano: it is a variation, it is less loud and a little bit lower in quality and is manufactured primarily for placement in homes where there is no room for a grand piano. It has its strings in an upright position.

Electric piano: these appeared in recent years and have reached a significant level of improvement, as the sound is extremely similar to that of real pianos and the keypad mimics the strength of hammers and allows the musician to play to a greater or lesser strength. It also offers numerous advantages over the traditional ones, like a metronome, sequencer, or the possibility of playing with the sounds of other instruments.

Piano tuning is the modification of the tension of the strings as to place them in appropriate frequencies. Music that is pleasing to the ear is achieved according to the canons of Western music.
